I am Joseph Douglas, born on the 1st of October '85. I was an IT Trainer for more than 4 years, giving immense training on several Microsoft technologies and my major areas of interest are Windows Server/Desktop administration and Virtualization.
I work for a Multinational company as a Technical Analyst
and manage Desktops and VMware. GOD! I am not going to elucidate my job profile
over here in my personal blog.
Well, I started my friendship with computer at the age of 10
with QBASIC programming and was on ninth cloud whenever I made the computer to
do little little things with some codes. Later I discovered my interest on
system administration and thought of giving a try. I joined for CCNA and MCP
course and got certified. I don’t know why but my trainers wanted me to join
their institution which I earnestly accepted. There started my career as an IT
Trainer and I choose Windows to networking as that was the only opening available
then at the institution. I don’t regret, not a bit. Day after day, months after
months, I started giving training on almost every Server/Desktop technologies.
There
is nothing called permeation for IT. It is constantly growing at its full pace
and that’s when people like me spend our time doing all these stuffs and earn
our daily bread.
I fully gave up my coaching classes after I joined an MNC and over the
period of time, I realized the fact that my knowledge base improvement is slackening.
Let me echo the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson “Unless
you try to do something beyond what you have mastered, you will never grow”. Now as I stand, I am in the process of training
myself, mastering the newer technologies.
The word ‘Why Not’ is always said and
heard inside my firm. So I thought, Why not create a blog for other to grow with me
and that’s my only motive with this blog. You can find several self-help ways
to doing things with Operating systems and learn from them.
